In my opinion the Vector Arms MP5A5 by Echo1 is without a doubt a great buy for anyone in the airsoft scene. I was impressed form the moment I first held it. The gun has an extremely solid build to it due to the nearly full metal body resulting in great weight, feel and durability. The only parts of the exterior that are plastic are the pistol grip (lower receiver), stock and cocking tube. Even though these parts of the gun are plastic I must say that they have a very thick, durable feel to them and I do not see them ever breaking. As far as performance goes I was very impressed as it hurled my G&G .28G BB'S a whopping 55-65 yards. Airsoft GI chrono'd the gun at 430fps and it clearly shows when fired. In addition to this the ROF with the stock 8.4 battery is average at about 600 rpm. However when I used my 9.6v battery it jumped to around 750-800 and completely blew my mind. Last but not least the ability to customize the gun with accessories matches that of any M4 or any other gun that usually comes equipped with rails. The rails prove to be one of the greatest features of the gun making it great for my PEQ box and my forgrip. The 14mm threading seemed to be slightly worn making my suppressor wobble when attached. However that was nothing a little thread tape couldn't fix and it was perfect afterwords. All in all the gun is money well spent. It may require a few adjustments to better suite the shooter but nothing major. I can easily give this gun a very impressive (9.8 out of 10).
